KickNBack exists to strengthen our community by investing in the next generation. We believe every child deserves to feel seen, supported, and empowered to succeed. Through service, meaningful partnerships, and the power of a united village, we create opportunities that build confidence, inspire hope, and remind young people they are never alone. Our mission is not only to provide resources but to cultivate a culture where every child knows they belong, every family feels supported, and our community grows stronger together.
We envision a New Orleans where every young person has access to the rooms, resources, relationships and opportunities that can shape their future. A community where young people are exposed to what is possible, connected to people who believe in them and given meaningful experiences that allow them to dream bigger, discover new paths and see themselves in places they may have never imagined.

KickNBack NOLA Foundation was built on a simple belief: when a community shows up, everything changes.
What began with sneakers has grown into something bigger. KickNBack is building a year round commitment to children, families and communities through resources, experiences, opportunities and moments that remind people they have a village standing behind them.
From our annual KickNBack Sneaker Giveaway to initiatives like KickNBack Christmas in the Cut Off and future community programs, every activation begins with the same question: What does our community need, and how can we show up?
Our impact is not measured by one event or one number. It is measured by families supported, opportunities created, relationships built and communities brought together.
We are not here to show up once. We are building something that shows up all year long.
Growing up in Algiers, Chansey Augustine saw firsthand the power of a community that shows up. Surrounded by people who believed in her and reminded her that success is never achieved alone, she carried that lesson with her. Years later, it would become the foundation of KickNBack NOLA Foundation.
What began as a vision to provide sneakers to young people has grown into a larger commitment to community. Chansey founded KickNBack to bring people, organizations and resources together to create opportunities, meaningful experiences and support for children and families.
Today, her vision extends far beyond one event. KickNBack is growing into a year round community organization built around connection, opportunity, access and impact.
At the heart of it all is the same lesson that started it:
